CANDLE: a stroke risk stratification score for patients hospitalized with COVID-19 infection. The CANDLE score ranges from 0-6 and assigns 1 point each for Cerebrovascular disease history, Afebrile temperature (<38.3 °C), No pulmonary disease history, Disorder of hypertension, Leukocytosis (white blood cell count >11 K/uL), and an Elevated systolic blood pressure (>140 mm Hg). Bar graphs display patients’ risk of an acute cerebrovascular event during hospitalization with COVID-19 infection according to low-risk (score 0–1), medium-risk (score 2–3), and high-risk (score 4–6) groups.
