Binding of Cry1Ac domain III mutant toxins to L. dispar BBMV. ¹²⁵I-labeled Cry1Ac (2 nM) was incubated with 10 μg of BBMV in the presence of increasing concentrations of unlabeled Cry1Ac, ⁵⁰⁹QNR⁵¹¹-AAA, ⁵⁰⁹Q-A, ⁵¹⁰N-A, ⁵¹¹R-A, and ⁵¹³Y-A mutant toxins. Binding is expressed as percentage of the amount bound upon incubation with labeled toxin alone.
