HO induces NOX4 expression in lung tissue. To determine the role of NOX4 in HALI, wild type (WT) mice (C57BL/6J male, ∼25 g body weight) were exposed to either NO or HO (95% oxygen) for 66 h. Total lung tissue protein was then subjected to SDS-PAGE followed by immunoblotting with anti-NOX4 antibody.
