(A) Inhibition of L929 adhesion to fibronectin (FN) in the presence of conjugates 1–3 and c(AmpLRGDL) 6 (0.05−10 μM concentration range). The inhibitory activity was calculated as the percentage of cell adhesion to FN in untreated cells and was expressed as mean ± SD. Experiments were carried out in triplicate. (B) Cytofluorimetric assay of L929 cells, K562 cells, and MDA-MB-231 cells treated for 24 h with free nintedanib and conjugates 1–3 at 5 μM. Percentages of cellular populations showing a fluorescence intensity higher than the threshold value (cellular autofluorescence) are reported.
