In the avian host, polyclonal IgY is typically produced from the immunization of the avian; the egg yolk containing polyclonal IgY is collected and purified, and the serum containing polyclonal IgG is collected in the bigger animal, e.g., rabbit. B Production of mAb through the hybridoma technique. The animal host (mouse), as shown in the figure, was sequentially immunized, and the spleen was collected for cell fusion.
