Representative Western blots and relative quantification of phospho (Ser32) and total IκB in cytoplasmatic (A) and NFκB protein level in citoplasmatic and nuclear fractions (B) of the liver of adults (6 mAL), aged rats on AL diet (24 mAL), and old rats on CR (24 mCR). β-actin and Lamin B1 were used as loading controls for cytoplasmatic and nuclear fraction, respectively. Quantification of Tlr4 (C) and Tnfα (D) mRNA levels in the liver was done relative to the amount of β-actin. All values are given as means ± SEM (n = 8).
