Study name Effect of osteopathic manipulative medicine on Parkinson disease
Methods RCT
Participants Target sample size: 50
Inclusion criteria: diagnosed with PD, over 40 years old.
Exclusion criteria: no diagnosis of PD, presence of other diagnosed neurological diseases or disorders, wheelchair bound or presence of physical deformities that would prevent completion of the assessment tools
Interventions 1. Osteopathic manipulative medicine, twice per week for 6 weeks
2. Counseling on PD‐related issues, once per week for 6 weeks (face to face time matched with intervention group)
Outcomes 1. Fall rate
