Hierarchy in the methods commonly used to predict the secondary structure of an RNA. The confidence level in an RNA secondary structure model depends on the number of pieces of computational and experimental information used to predict that model (roughly increasing from left to right), which relates to the time to obtain that model (also increasing from left to right), which in turn is linked to accessibility to advanced instrumentation and expertise in structure determination methods.
