Notes: (A) Superficial incisional pain model. After disinfection, 5-mm longitudinal incision was made through the skin, starting 2 mm from the proximal edge of the heel, and extending toward the toe. (B) Deep incisional pain model. In addition to the skin incision, the underlying plantaris muscle were incised and elevated for 5 min. (C) The wound was closed using a 6–0 nylon suture. The white cross indicates the point at which filaments were applied in the von Frey test.
