The three categories of variables used to assess the functional deficit following a unilateral VS clinical signs (patients characteristics) gave multimodal informative data; auditory and vestibular unimodal tests allowed the appreciation of the dysfunction of either the auditory and or of the vestibular function; postural control which were by essence multimodal and which combined EquiTest and VR/Foam tests.
