Knockdown of CDCA5 induces cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase. (A) Knockdown of CDCA5 increased the cell population in the G2 phase, but decreased the number of cells in the G1 phase, as shown by flow cytometric analysis in 786-O and SN12-PM6 cells. (B) Immunostaining analysis using the mitotic marker p-histone H3 (Serine 10; red) revealed a marked decrease in the number of positive cells in the shCDCA5 group. Nuclear DNA (blue) was stained with DAPI. (C) Western blot analysis of cyclin B1 in both 786-O and SN12-PM6 cell lines following the knockdown of CDCA5.
