The table reports the results of regressions corresponding to different specification of Eq. (2) using total movements as dependent variable. The sample includes the days between February 14 and 28, and excludes provinces in Lombardy. In column 1–3 civic capital is measured as the first principal component of blood donation, trust, and newspaper readership; in column 4 as the first principal component of the first two variables only.
