Schematic representation of KLF15 and PPARδ interaction. KLF15 and PPARδ colocalize and interact to regulate transcription of genes related to lipid uptake, mitochondrial transport, and lipid oxidation. In the absence of KLF15, PPARδ binding and subsequent transcriptional activity are altered. KLF15, Krüppel-like factor 15; PPAR, peroxisome proliferator–activated receptor.
