T represents the activity of one wild-type tra-2 locus without trans-acting repression. H, F, and G represent factors (ranging from 0–1) that adjust T downward in response to the HA epitope tag of tra-2(nm75), activity of fog-2(+), or activity of gld-1(+), respectively. E represents a factor (>1) by which T is increased in the tra-2(e2020) dominant Fog allele. Because reduction of gld-1 and fog-2 function impact sexual fate independently and in e2020 mutants (see Tables 2 and 3), F and G are retained as factors even when combined with tra-2(e2020) alleles.
