(e, f, g) Liver sections from rats received 20% fructose showing loss of intact liver architecture which characterized by extensive fat droplet disposition (steatosis, dashed arrows), ballooning of hepatocytes and pyknotic nuclei (arrows), and inflammatory cell infiltration (star).
