A bivalent interaction of AMHR2 with the AMH noncovalent complex leads to a conformational change in the GF and displacement of the prodomain. The dissociation constants of the AMH complex bound monovalently and bivalently to AMHR2 are shown. Bivalent binding causes a 1000-fold increase in the Kd of the complex leading to rapid dissociation.
