Phenotypical and functional characteristics of CD18Ly6G cKO mice compared to CD18fl/fl mice. We found a significant reduction of β2-integrin surface marker expression (CD11b, CD18) on PMN derived from blood, spleen, and bone marrow (A). Data depict the results of in-vitro experiments from n=7-17 mice/genotype. In the same set of experiments we further observed higher absolute and relative counts of PMN in CD18Ly6G cKO mice as compared to CD18fl/fl mice (B,C), whereas the proportions of other leukocyte subpopulations did not differ significantly (C) (n=10/genotype).
