The serines demonstrated to be phosphorylated are shown in green, the proline rich region is shown in blue, the membrane proximal tyrosine and the ITIM are shown in red, both tyrosines have been shown to be phosphorylated. Known cytoplasmic interacting partners are shown in their regions of suspected interaction. GRB2 is believed to interact with the proline rich domain but this interaction has not been localized and is represented by the “?”, SHP 1 & 2 have been demonstrated to bind the ITIM, and Moesin is believed to bind the distal region of cytoplasmic tail last 25 amino acids.
