Upregulation of miR‐128 and Axin1 gene silencing promotes activation of the Wnt1/β-catenin signaling pathway in cardiomyocytes. Mice were in vivo transfected with miR-128 mimics, or anti-miR-128, or shRNA against Axin1, or anti-miR-128 and shAxin1. Cardiomyocytes were then isolated and subjected to Western blot analysis with indicated antibodies. A representative Western blot is shown (a) and relative protein expression levels of Axin1 (b), Wnt1 (c) and β-catenin (d) were examined by densitometric analysis, normalized to GAPDH.
