To ensure the safety of responders and general public and prevent panic by systematically integrating expert knowledge and lessons learned from past disasters into response, recovery, and rehabilitation planning.

To limit spread of COVID-19 and enhance the extent of gathering information about lives lost, person under monitoring (PUM), person under investigation (PUI), confirmed cases, and lockdown of businesses and its impact on city economy.

To assess the resources and restore livelihood and economic productivity of the city, e.g., Service, industry, MSMEs, agriculture sectors, etc.

Integrate disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation (CCA) in public health system.

To ensure proper medical waste management and management of dead bodies.

6.
To maintain the continuity of operations of public and private sectors activities and robust the public–private partnership for COVID-19 interventions.
