The p-value was obtained by χ2 test; other p-values were obtained by a two independent samples t-test. CARS, childhood autism rating scale. Of the 55 toddlers, there were eight children who were younger than 2 years old (age ranging from 1.6 to 1.8 years old). The CARS scores were only calculated on children 2 years or older in the Toddler group.
