Five-year post-transplant survival of patients with T2DM stratified by HbA1c at HTX (Kaplan–Meier estimator). Stratification of patients with T2DM at HTX showed a significantly lower 5-year post-transplant survival of patients with a HbA1c ≥ 7.0% at HTX (46.3%) in comparison to patients with a HbA1c < 7.0% at HTX (68.7%, P = 0.008).
