Yamada 2015.

Methods Randomised, prospective, cross‐over study evaluating the use of SCTs in decreasing errors during simulated neonatal resuscitation
Participants 13 participants were recruited
Interventions Participants performed as lead resuscitator in 2 simulated neonatal resuscitations. 2 confederates were trained to use or not use SCTs based on randomisation. Participants led 1 scenario in which confederates used non‐standard communication, and a second in which confederates used SCTs. Order of scenarios and communication methods were randomised. An NRP instructor blinded to group assignment reviewed each videotaped resuscitation
Outcomes Primary outcome measures were: calculated per cent error rate, time to initiation of positive pressure ventilation and time to initiation of chest compressions
Notes Data on the study and methodology requested from the investigators

NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program; SCT: standardised communication technique.
