This was an 88-year-old man with prostate cancer and bony metastases presenting right shoulder and T-spine uptake. The T-spine uptake was clearly seen in the posterior view but not well seen in the anterior view. The uptake in the right shoulder and the bladder showed less differences between the two views owing to less tissue penetration and nearly the same distance between the two camera heads. This representative imaging illustrated the fact that radiation penetration in the human body used in routine nuclear medicine examinations appeared not as high as the public expectation [24].
