Effect of different Hydrocarbons on the growth rate of soil-isolated strains. The yeast strains were grown on MSM liquid medium mixed with 1% of either crude oil, used oil, diesel, kerosene, or mixed oil. The growth was observed for 30 days. The statistical analysis of differences in growth rates of the isolated strains was performed using SPSS statistical package (version22) for the One-way ANOVA and Dunnett's, where the values were significant P < 0.05.
