Tregs control ongoing inflammation by acting on major cells that drive allergic reaction, including antigen presentation cells, Teffs, NKT cells, ILC2s, eosinophils, basophils, and mast cells. Tregs suppress IgE-producing B cells, while induce IgG4-producing B cells and IL-10-producing Bregs, and promote the generation of tolerogenic dendritic cells.
