Evaluation of DNA damage (SSBs, DSBs, and alkali-labile sites) in human cancer cell lines: (a) HCT 116; (b) PC-3; (c) BxPC-3; (d) HeLa treated with MM129, MM130, and MM131 in the concentrations of 0.5, 1, and 2 × IC₅₀ for 24 h using the alkaline version of the comet assay. The applied concentrations of investigated compounds were at least 10 times lower than the concentration of bleomycin (positive control) used in the experiment. DNA damage was shown as a median of the percentage of DNA in comet tail with interquartile range and minimal and maximal values. Significant differences (p < 0.0001) compared with negative (*) and positive (#) control.
