A 44-year-old man with a history of gastrectomy for gastric signet ring cell carcinoma presented with symptoms of abdominal pain and rising carcinoembryonic antigen levels. He underwent a PET/CT scan to detect recurrence. 68 Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT images show intense activity throughout the abdomen and pelvis, especially around the liver and small bowel mesenterium (a).
