Table 1. Size and Composition of the Average Nanoparticles: Mean Diameter (ϕ), Statistical Dispersity (SD), Weight Percentage of the Gold Part (Au% Weight), Percentage of Dodecanethiol Ligand DT (% molar), and Percentage of Dendrimeric Ligands Ln (% molar).
| sample | ϕa (nm) | SDa (nm) | % Aub (% weight) | % DTc (% molar) | % Lnc (% molar) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AuDT (t = 0) | 2.0 | 0.5 | 73 | 100 | 0 |
| AuDTL2 (t = 0) | 2.0 | 0.5 | 40 | 34 | 66 |
| AuDTL2-Δ (t = 180) | 5.1 | 0.5 | 37 | 33 | 67 |
| AuDTL3 (t = 0) | 2.2 | 0.5 | 39 | 53 | 47 |
| AuDTL3-Δ (t = 180) | 4.6 | 0.6 | 44 | 53 | 47 |
The measurements corresponding to the mean diameters ϕ (nm) and SD statistical dispersion were obtained by scanning electron transmission microscopy (STEM).
% weight of the gold part in the hybrid nanoparticle was obtained by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
The proportion of each ligand [% DT (dodecanethiol) and % Ln (dendronic ligand)] (% molar) was obtained by means of a one-dimensional quantitative experiment of 1H NMR.
