Since exhaustive multiple brain lesioning in experimental biological research is currently beyond the reach, we suggest connectivity-aware or neural network models of functioning brains to fill the gap. In-silico experiments can then be performed to predict key elements and their contributions to the behavior. These predictions can then be tested experimentally in-vivo by the method of choice.
