Cytotoxic effect of LV-IFNα on BLCA cell lines

(A–C) Murine cell lines were exposed to murine recombinant IFNα (rIFNα) or transduced with LV-Ctrl or LV-IFNα and cell counts were measured using Trypan blue dye exclusion method. At 72 h, MB49 (A) and UPPL1541 (B) showed significant reduction in cell counts, while BBN975 (C) showed no change in cell numbers when compared with the saline treatment. (D) At 72 h, annexin V and propidium iodide staining showed increased apoptotic cells after 100 U rIFNα or LV-IFNα treatment in MB49 and UPPL1541 cells.
