Note 3D sampling function confirms that the classification is not biased by particle orientations, as different classes have similar sampling functions and are nearly isotropic in different orientations.

- My understanding is that I am looking at 9 different orientations of the complex – and that this means that the complex is resting on the surface at a different angles. Or does it mean that the complex has different conformations in the 9 different classes?

- I realise that I don’t understand what a “sampling function” is in this context.
