Each line represents one patient from the cohort and there is an obvious downward trend from NFT to HGSC (a,c). Conversely, the trend towards global hypermethylation of the OSR2 associated CpG site with disease progression is equally obvious (b,d). The lack of overlap between confidence intervals of HGSC and NFT in both boxplots is indicative of statistical significance.
