B1–C4 represent change in methylation pattern in root or leaf of R. glutinosa under 5-azaC treatment as compared to the control group (CK), B1: I → III, B2: II → III, B3: II → IV, B4: I → IV; C1: III → I, C2: III → II, C3: IV → II, C4: IV → I. I belts are present in both EcoRI/Hpa II and EcoRI/Msp I digestion combination, II belts are present only in EcoRI/Hpa II, and III belts are present only in EcoRI/MspI.
