(A) Using mobile phases composed of HFIP and TEA, a 100 ng/μL 100-mer synthesized poly(A) oligonucleotide was analyzed. The charge states are barely visible with significant adducts. (B) Using mobile phases composed of TEAA, HFIP, and TEA, a 100 ng/μL 100-mer synthesized poly(A) oligonucleotide was analyzed. There is a substantial improvement in spectrum quality as evident by the observed adduct reduction.
