Apigenin prevents the OA-induced damage on mitochondrial membrane potential in hepatocytes.
Huh7 cells were pretreated with OA (125 μg/mL) for 24 h and then apigenin (20 μM) for 18 h. The JC-10 assay was used to detect the mitochondrial membrane potential. Data are the mean ± SEM from 5 independent experiments. *P < 0.05 vs. the vehicle-treated group; #P < 0.05 vs. the OA-treated group.
