Cellular conditions responsible for MeHg-mediated site-specific neurotoxicity. MeHg-mediated site-specific neurotoxicity involves cerebellar granule cells, the primary afferent nervous system, and deep layers of cerebrocortical neurons (especially layer IV), which are surrounded by a red frame.
