Differential inhibitor sensitivity of ³H-dopamine and ³H-norepinephrine transport systems in human placental membranes. One-minute uptake of ³H-dopamine (a, b) and ³H -norepinephrine (c, d) was evaluated in the presence of 100 µM paroxetine (PAR), 100 µM venlafaxine (VEN), 20 nM nisoxetine (NIS), 50 nM GBR 12935 (GBR), 100 µM cortisol (CORT), and 10 µM decynium-22 (D22). Results are presented as percent uptake relative to the uptake in the absence of inhibitors (CTRL). Data are shown as median with interquartile range, n ≥ 4. Statistical analysis was evaluated using Kruskal–Wallis test: *(p ≤ 0.05), **(p ≤ 0.01), ***(p ≤ 0.001).
