Effect of unlabelled dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin on monoamine transport systems in MVM and BM. Initial uptake rates (CTRL) were determined in vesicles incubated with 112 nM ³H-dopamine (a, b), 332 nM ³H-norepinephrine (c, d), and 100 nM ³H-serotonin (e, f) at room temperature for 1 min. Concentration-dependent analyses of unlabelled monoamines were evaluated at a range of 0.0001–1000 µM. Curve fitting by nonlinear regression was implemented in GraphPad Prism 8.1. Results are presented as percent uptake relative to CTRL. Data are shown as median with interquartile range, n = 4.
