Comparison of markers of inflammation, coagulation, and immunity (CRP, IL-6, D-dimer, and ferritin) associated with severe COVID-19 with a high risk of mortality from the literature against the outcome of studies done on consumption of Aureobasidium pullulans strain (AFO-202 and N-163)-derived β-glucans in COVID-19 patients demonstrates that the marker levels were regulated to the normal range after 15 days of consumption and the values remained in the normal range post-30 days as well [(1) Ref. no (56).; (2) Ref. no (54).; (3) Ref. no (55).; (4) Ref. no (41).; (5) Ref. no (42).; (6) Ref. no (57).
