Bias in the causal effect estimation as a function of exposure across settings

(A) In settings with a polynomial causal function fα(·), slight bias from non-genetic confounding was induced under certain combinations of high polygenicity, high heritability, or strong confounding. (B) The bias found in non-polynomial settings was expected due to the polynomial approximation approach.
