Heavy chains are composed of one variable domain (VH) and three constant domains (CH1, CH2, and CH3). The light chains consist of one constant domain (CL) and one variable domain (VL). CH1 and CH2 domains are separated by a flexible hinge region connected by disulphide bridges.
