Sampling strategy for the detailed airborne personal exposure (n = 12) and underground ambient measurements. Exposure and aerosol metrics were: equivalent black carbon (eBC), elemental carbon (EC), nitrogen dioxide (NO2, expert sampling), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Particle number (PN) concentration in the range 5–1000 nm, particle number size distribution (PSD), nitric oxide (NO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) were also measured in the ambient zone.
