In vitro cellular osteogenesis corresponds with oxidation-mediated BMP-2 release from PTK-BAA films. MC3T3-E1 pre-osteoblasts treated with releaseate from 1 mM H2O2-incubated films generated significantly more alkaline phosphatase than cells treated with releaseate from PBS-incubated films (n=3 per treatment, *p<0.05). 30 tetralayer films constructed with 450 kDa PAA.
