Administration of IL-1Ra to the dam reduced the levels of IL-1β in fetal sera. Mean titres of IL-1β (A), and CXCL1 (B) in circulating fetal sera. Data were collected from four individual experiments. Analyses were done by one-way ANOVA test between the experimental groups (CTL, GBS, and GBS plus IL-1Ra) when treatment was significant; *p < 0.05. Number (n) of male and female fetuses: CTL (n = 4-6), GBS (n = 5-7), and GBS plus IL-1Ra (n = 5-7). Bars show mean ± SEM.
