Negative correlation (Spearman rank) indicates that mycorrhizal responsiveness is most positive in those lines which have a lower shoot dry biomass in the non‐mycorrhizal state; lines with a high dry biomass when non‐mycorrhizal are more likely to experience a negative MGR.
