Hypothesis testing with Monte Carlo permutation showed that intrapopulation variances of both traits were significantly different between Fast and Slow treatments across replicate populations (p‐values under significance level $\alpha =0.05$ in bold). However, variances under Slow and Stochastic Slow treatments were not significantly different.
