Overview of the workflow used for Hi‐C library preparation. Digestion of chromatin DNA is performed with restriction enzymes or DNA nuclease. DNA ends are labelled by a biotinylated nucleotide (left) or a biotinylated bridge adapter (right). Ligation is performed in situ in the nucleus, and biotin‐containing DNA is captured and used for the generation of sequencing libraries
