Fabrication of 3D vascular model. 3D bioprinting can be used to replicate structure and pathophysiological function of a healthy and diseased blood vessel. nECM bioinks are developed for 3D bioprinting of vascular constructs by first printing VSMCs and then subsequently seeding with ECs to form a confluent monolayer. This fabrication technique permits the construction of a 3D bioprinted vascular model and can recapitulate responses of vascular activation.
