A crescent‐shaped lamellar fibrosis of the intima is observed (A; ×20). EVG staining highlights intimal thickening (B; arrows indicating the tunica media; ×20). In the thickened intima, some parts show spindle‐shaped cells arranged in a lamellar fashion (C; ×200), while others consist of hypocellular densely collagenized fibrosis (D,E; both ×200).
